Okay, before you start thinking that you'd rather be broke than spend another dime on a "pill", let me share all the facts with you;
I also hate taking pills. I only take 1 on days that I'm working out and it's called ATP. I take it because it brings more oxygen to my muscles and I've noticed that it actually works so there's that.
BUT while I went through a phase where I was buying new pills and supplements every other week and now I'm stuck with a pretty extensive medicine cabinet, I never take ANY of them.
I realized the following;
1. I don't like taking pills and 2. The benefits were hardly noticeable, if at all.
I agree that there's a few out there that are beneficial of course but I'm just not a fan.
SO, ever since I did my 3-day juice cleanse with pressed juicery, I've been intrigued by chlorophyll because they supply you with two types of water to drink with your cleanse. One being an aloe vera water that you drink at night and the other one was a chlorophyll water that you're supposed to sip on throughout the day in between all of the other juices.
I asked why and they said that it since the juices are packed with so much fiber from the fruits and veggies that drinking chlorophyll would help you digest everything! This is also why they suggest drinking lots of water during your cleanse or else you will just end up bloated which is probably THE LAST thing you want after drinking juice for 3 days.
I figured I could get chlorophyll for myself and put it in my water every morning and have the same effects and for the most part, I was right. You can buy liquid chlorophyll at really any health food store, add it to your water all day long and experience the benefits, which we'll go over in a second!
BUT once I started browsing my options I realized that the amount of chlorophyll that you get per serving was SUPER low. It might say you get 160 milligrams of chlorophyll but that's also mixed with water and whatever other ingredients that is in the liquid so you really only end up with like 0.5 milligrams of chlorophyll.
Doesn't say much considering 1 cup of spinach is packed with 23.7 milligrams...

SO then I obviously had to start looking into all the reviews of different products on Amazon and finally came across an amazing product that is chlorophyll sold in the form of tablets.
Most reviews claimed that they saw and felt results after 2 weeks, and some people have been with this brand for up to 3 years, taking 10-12 tablets a day.
They recommend that you start with 2 a day but considering there are 1,000 tablets in a bag, you can see how this is easily something that could become part of your daily routine!
Let's look at the benefits of chlorophyll!
1. IT'S ALKALIZING; MEANING CANCER DOESN'T LIKE IT
Cancer cells can't survive in an alkaline environment! Chlorophyll helps the body remove toxins from the body, prevents excess acid and of course produces that lovely alkaline pH that we should all want.
2. WEIGHT LOSS
Chlorophyll helps prevent your blood sugar from dropping which usually makes us feel sleepy and assume that we are hungry. So it works with the hunger hormones which influences our appetite and helps us regulate our food intake.
3. BOOSTS OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM AND ELIMINATES ODOURS.
Chlorophyll is actually known very well for this which I was kind of surprised by haha. BUT apparently, it helps eliminate bad breath, gas and other bodily odours...
4. TREATS INFLAMMATION
With its high antioxidant properties, it is able to attack free radicals including a specific type of toxin known as AFLATOXIN B1 which are poisonous and known to cause cancer.
5. KILLS BACTERIA
Which helps with things like bad breath like we discussed earlier but it also helps prevent other bacteria build-ups such as yeast infections and it speeds up the process of wounds healing.
6. PACKED WITH NUTRIENTS
It helps with everything from blood clotting to healthy skin and vision. It is also packed with tons of important minerals like magnesium, iron, calcium, and potassium.
