Benefits of liquid Chlorophyll and Chlorophyll Water
Chlorophyll
Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in plants, algae and some bacteria cells that give them their green colour. It is a biomolecule that consists of hydrogen and carbon with a magnesium atom. The reason that chlorophyll appears green is because it absorbs the red and blue light from the visible light spectrum but reflects only the green light. Chlorophyll needs sunlight and warmth to be produced. It has a vital function in the process of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is responsible for energy that is absorbed through sunlight.
Chlorophyllin
Chlorophyllin is a water-soluble form of chlorophyll where the magnesium atom is replaced with a copper atom. Some of the side chains of the original molecule then changes into sodium salts. Essentially, it is a semi-synthetic form of chlorophyll.
What does chlorophyllin/ liquid chlorophyll do in the body and its benefits?
Don’t worry, it will not turn your skin green. We actually already are ingesting chlorophyll through the green vegetables and herbs we consume. Chlorophyll helps promote healthy function of some vital organs such as our kidneys. It also helps strengthen our immune system by alkalizing the blood, this gives the pathogens a less favourable environment to live and thrive and the digestive system by helping in detoxifying the gut. This also helps with body odour and the odour that comes from our mouths when we haven’t eaten much the whole day. By detoxifying the gut, it also helps the body lose weight in a natural healthy way. Liquid Chlorophyll helps with the production of blood and encourages oxygen absorption.. This not just helps the overall health of your body but helps your skin become healthier and appear fresher.
