What are the benefits of drinking water to the human body?

Drinking water is essential to staying hydrated. The body is about 60% water. It is used as a building block for all of our cells, helps to regulate body temperature, metabolize and transport nutrients, and helps to flush waste  out of our bodies.

How much (in your opinion) water should we drink a day?

There is no scientifically proven amount of water that all individuals should drinks. General estimates are 60-90 oz (2-3 L) of water per day, or 1 ounce for every kilogram of your weight, but these are meant to be taken as advice, not rigid rules. The best rule of thumb is to sip water regularly and drink in response to your thirst.

What is Purified Water?

Purified water has been filtered to remove impurities like algae, fungi, and certain types of bacteria and chemicals. In many countries in the West, the public tap water has been purified by municipalities.

Why is Purified Water better to drink than Spring Water?

Spring water must be collected at the source of a naturally flowing spring source. As such, it tends to have more particulates present in it, as well as more minerals. Purified water has undergone certain processes, like reverse osmosis or distillation, to remove impurities.

Why should water be purified?

Purified water has been treated in various ways to remove particulates. It cannot contain more than 10 parts per million of total dissolved solids. This helps to remove things like chemicals, algae and fungi from the water.

What are the top benefits of Purified Water?

As with all water, purified water is hydrating for the human body. It is also processed to remove particulates, and may have a cleaner taste to some consumers.

Anything else you want to share re: Purified Water vs Spring Water vs Distilled Water:

Distilled water is also purified water as one of the methods of purification is distillation. Spring water is a bit of a contentious term, as certain companies that sell bottled spring water have been found to not have collected the water at a spring source.
